Kota saw a massive 40% drop in student enrollment this year, projected to be even less in the coming years. This is obviously happening due to the resurgence of online platforms like PW and now even renowned coaching institutes like Motion and Allen offering purely online courses if students so desire.
Here's a tweet by the CEO of Motion:

I understand that the connection between students and teachers is kinda lost online due to blank and often silent screens but how much about this is due to an actual interest in forming connections with students instead of worrying about having his pockets lighter than before the lockdown.
Just as students have become comfortable with online courses, hundreds of them cracking their dream college purely through YouTube or other online platforms, this guy wants to swoop in and talk about this "new" (even though it's about 5 years old now) issue to stay relevant? I have so many thoughts about this.
